Dutch supplier of system solutions using HPLC with electrochemical detection, Antec Leyden has opened Antec USA as a consequence of continuously increasing businesses in the US. This accounts for a significant share of total sales and the company decided to set up its subsidiary in Hanover, Maryland. It will be responsible for marketing, sales and technical support for the US and Canada.
To launch the initiative Antec has appointed Joann Purkerson as USA operations manager. She brings 15 years of experience in service and customer support, as well as many years of HPLC practice and troubleshooting. Dennis Guralnick and Mac Cuddy are team members concentrating on sales in the North East USA. George Foster has been appointed as office manager and will oversee order processing.
The establishment of the US subsidiary is a great leap for Antec Leyden. It will enable them to interact with their customers more intensely, better understand their clients' needs and develop solutions for the problems they encounter.
