PerkinElmer (Waltham, Massachusetts) announced the development of interface software for Agilent’s (Santa Clara, California) EZChrom Elite chromatography data system to control PerkinElmer’s Clarus gas chromatographs. According to the company, the software will be available worldwide by July 2009. The software control reportedly will control Clarus 600, 500, and 400 models. Applications include areas such as petrochemical and pharmaceutical analysis.
