PerkinElmer (Waltham, Massachusetts) and Labtronics (Guelph, Ontario, Canada) announced a partnership to enable the use of Labtronics’ LimsLink and Limslink Express software with PerkinElmer’s LABWORKS laboratory information management system (LIMS). According to the companies, the collaboration will be able laboratories to reduce analysts’ workload, reduce the cost of sample data management, and deliver sample results to the LIMS faster. The software reportedly will enable users to customize their interfaces to meet changing requirements in-house rather than hiring outside assistance.
