UHPLC Method for DNPH-Derivatized Aldehydes
January 11th 2016This Application Note shows the transfer of a standard HPLC method to a UHPLC method for the analysis of 13 DNPH-derivatized aldehydes and ketones. By transferring the method from HPLC to UHPLC, the analysis time and solvent consumption was reduced by approximately 90 %.

ISET – Emulation of Waters Alliance
January 11th 2016This Application Note shows the easy transfer of an LC method from the Waters Alliance 2695 LC to an Agilent 1290 Infinity II LC, with ISET, while controlled through Waters Empower software. Paracetamol and its impurities were analyzed on both systems, and the resulting retention times and resolution values were compared.

Ultrafast Analysis of Food Preservatives Using Dual-Needle Injection
January 11th 2016Ultrahigh throughput is shown for ultrafast gradients with over 60 % reduction of total analysis time using alternating column regeneration. This was accomplished with parallel injection by the second needle installed in the Agilent 1290 Infinity II Multisampler, which has a dual-needle option for the analysis of food preservatives.
