Verdure Technologies, Inc., an Idaho based biotech green technologies company, moved into its new research and development facility in Pocatello Idaho.

Verdure Technologies, Inc., an Idaho based biotech green technologies company, moved into its new research and development facility in Pocatello Idaho. The facility houses a 7,000 square-foot analytical chemistry and microbiology laboratory. VTI will perform all analytical chemistry analysis including gas chromatography, mass spectroscopy, and microbiological analysis in-house.

Jiangsu Police Institute scientists recently created a solid-phase microextraction (SPME)-based method for determining amphetamine-type stimulants.

Caitlin N. Cain is a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Michigan. She is supported by the National Institutes of Health – National Research Service Award for Individual Postdoctoral Fellows. Her research specializes in the development of chemometric techniques to improve chromatographic non-targeted analyses. Previously, she earned her Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Washington in 2024 and B.S. degrees in Chemistry and Forensic Science from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2019. Her research efforts have been recognized by numerous accolades, including the inaugural LCGC Rising Stars of Separation Science Award. She proudly serves as an executive committee member for the ACS SCSC (Subdivision on Chromatography and Separations Chemistry).
