The Uwe Neue Award recognizes scientists who have made significant contributions to separation science and continue to advance it. Nominations are considered by a group consisting of selected members of the Permanent HPLC Symposium Committee and selected industrial researchers. The award honors the legacy of Dr. Uwe D. Neue, who was a Waters Corporate Fellow and an expert in the field of separations.
The first presentation of the session will be given by Gerard Rozing of Agilent Technologies (Waldbronn, Germany). Rozing’s presentation is titled “Current and Future Perspectives on UHPLC: Requirements for Improved Abilities and Functionality.”
The session’s next presentation is titled “The Theory of Gradient Elution in Fast Reversed-Phase Chromatography” and will be presented by Georges Guiochon of the University of Tennessee (Knoxville, Tennessee). Guiochon was the recipient of LCGC’s 2010 Lifetime Achievement in Chromatography Award.
Attila Felinger of the University of Pecs (Pecs, Hungary) will present the final talk in this Tuesday session. It is titled “The Appraisal of Inverse Size Exclusion Chromatography.”
The symposium will be followed by Poster Session 3 in the Grand Salon and Grand Ballroom Exhibit Halls (poster presentations P-T-1200 through P-T-1600).
