The new European headquarters of the Yokogawa Electric Corporation have officially been opened in Amersfoort, the Netherlands, at a ceremony attended by public dignitaries and senior Yokogawa management.
The new European headquarters of the Yokogawa Electric Corporation have officially been opened in Amersfoort, the Netherlands, at a ceremony attended by public dignitaries and senior Yokogawa management.
In his opening presentation, Harry Hauptmeijer, president of Yokogawa Europe, commented "The philosophy for the new European headquarters is to combine efficiency, high technology and innovation with a big emphasis on Yokogawa’s 'Sun' symbol throughout. From a business point of view, it will help us to continue to provide the openness and transparency, customer friendliness and teamwork that our customers expect — not just for today but also for the long-term future."
The new headquarters, in an environmentally optimized building housing over 500 employees, integrates Yokogawa operations, which previously occupied separate sites in Amersfoort and nearby Houten and Apeldoorn, as well as new departments including a gas chromatography application laboratory and a test and measurement calibration centre.

A recent study investigated the protective effects of the oil in an excision wound model in rats, focusing on oxidative stress reduction, inflammatory cytokine modulation, and caspase-3 regulation; chemical composition of the oil was analyzed using gas chromatography–mass spectrometry (GC–MS).
