American life sciences company Promega, has opened a new EuroLab facility in Charbonnières near Lyon, France. The laboratory will be used to develop new applications to address Europe?s scientific needs.
American life sciences company Promega, has opened a new EuroLab facility in Charbonnières near Lyon, France. The laboratory will be used to develop new applications to address Europe’s scientific needs. Activities will be in direct response to customer requests and focus on methods for nucleic acid extraction, cell-based assays and PCR.
The facility will also serve to further scientific education; training scientific support personnel for the company as well as providing a centre of excellence in scientific learning for life scientists in Europe.
With a state-of-the-art laboratory and seminar room, the company aims to increase the level of service offered to the European scientific community. Events planned for the inaugural year include STR analysis for forensic laboratories and fundamental proteomics training.
