This Wednesday afternoon session will cover several interesting ways that LC–MS techniques are applied to biological applications. This session will begin at 1:30 p.m. and conclude at 3:00 p.m. Sarah Trimpin of Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan will chair the session.
Thomas E. Wales of Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts will present the first talk on the schedule. His talk is titled “On the Utilization of Liquid- and Gas-phase Separations in Hydrogen Exchange MS.”
The second talk in this session is titled “Development of the INLIGHT Strategy for the Relative Quantification of N-Linked Glycans using Different Separation Modes.” David C. Muddiman of North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina will present. This work is a collaboration between Muddiman, his colleagues at North Carolina State University, and several researchers from the University of Notre Dame in Notre Dame, Indiana.
The next talk will be given by C.J. Venkatramani of Genentech in South San Francisco, California. Venkatramani’s talk is titled “2D-LC-MS: Transitioning from Research Laboratories to Main-Stream Pharmaceutical Analysis.”
The final talk in this session is titled “Advanced Top Down LCMS Platform for High-throughput Characterization of Histone Modifications.” Si Wu of Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in Richland, Washington will present.
After the session concludes, attendees are free to attend the Poster Session located in the Grand Salon and Grand Ballroom Exhibit halls. There are also several other sessions taking place throughout the day.
