Thermo Fisher Scientific (Waltham, Massachusetts) has acquired Advanced Scientifics, Inc. (ASI) (Millersburg, Pennsylvania) for $300 million (US) in cash.
ASI designs and manufactures systems and equipment for the preparation, processing, storage, and transportation of biopharmaceuticals. The company has 380 employees and operations in Pennsylvania, USA, and Mexico.
