New features offered by the site include improved navigation for easier access to information; a faster, easier-to-use online shopping center; enhanced tools, including the use of popular search terms; and a new look graphically.
The new site offers customers, partners, prospects, and the editorial community new information and materials to make their PerkinElmer experience more efficient and effective, and the new web pages are currently online. The redesigned website was the result of an ongoing collaboration with customers, as designers fielded input from the marketplace to create an online environment geared toward increasing business productivity.

A recent study investigated the protective effects of the oil in an excision wound model in rats, focusing on oxidative stress reduction, inflammatory cytokine modulation, and caspase-3 regulation; chemical composition of the oil was analyzed using gas chromatography–mass spectrometry (GC–MS).
