The Industrial Gas Filtration & Generation Division of Parker Hannifin Corporation, the global leader in motion and control technologies, today announced the release of itsChromGasTM Hydrogen Fuel (H2F) and Zero Air Gas (ZAG) generators. These are the first products in a new line of generators designed to maximize gas chromatography instrument support and value for laboratories.

Characterized by their stackable design and compact size, the generators integrate effortlessly with other ChromGas units to free up valuable lab space. In combination, ChromGas Hydrogen Fuel (H2F) and Zero Air Gas (ZAG) generators offer an innovative, modular FID gas station suitable for all known gas chromatography combustion detectors such as FID, FPD and NPD. Its state-of-the-art control system, featuring a spacious user interface panel, elevates user-friendliness and performance monitoring convenience. With the optional Remote Monitoring Module, customers can oversee and manage their ChromGas H2F generators from a central computer, improving lab efficiency and productivity.

ChromGas H2F generators supply fuel gas to all widely used gas chromatography flame detectors in modern laboratory workflows and can serve multiple detectors simultaneously. Parker’s ChromGasTMZAG generators provide a continuous stream of hydrocarbon-free air from an external dry compressed air source, offering superior detection limits compared to other modes of supply.

Any lab using analytical instruments can benefit from taking control of its gas supply, and ChromGas provides several key advantages over delivered gas cylinders and traditional generator designs. On-site gas generation eliminates the safety hazards created by moving and storing high-pressure cylinders, removes any variation in gas quality from tank to tank and keeps the most valuable employees focused on profitable work.

ChromGas generators are manufactured in Haverhill, Massachusetts, and are part of a portfolio built on Parker’s long history of improving safety and sustainability in laboratories. The generators are available for purchase now, and Parker is dedicated to delivering best-in-class quality and customer service without undue delay.
