LCMS Field Application Engineer – Agilent

To support customers’ efforts with Agilent LCMS hardware and software, Agilent is looking for someone to join their Professional Services consulting team. This individual will join a professional team of Field Application Engineers who support customers in the United States and Canada. The engineer will be responsible for educating customers on the entire Agilent portfolio of LCMS hardware and software and help them develop solutions to their specific application and analytical needs. This role involves providing customers post-sales technical and application support on Agilent's LCMS (QQQ, TOF, QTOF) software and hardware products, delivering customized consulting and application support both remotely and at customer sites, and interfacing with customers to answer questions and provide training using Agilent LCMS products, among others.

Associate Scientist, High Throughput Automation - GSK

The associate scientist will be a member of a highly skilled team of scientists that develop and execute work packages that utilize automation instruments for rapid screening of active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) and intermediates to reduce design and process selection risks and enhance product design across all phases of development. This position involves executing standard work packages utilizing automation instruments to generate high quality and robust data to aid in the development of new pharmaceutical products and working with more experienced team members to develop new work packages and standardize existing work packages to meet evolving business needs utilizing a range of automation instruments.

Additionally, this individual must ensure appropriate use of mass spectrometry to define control strategies for new chemical entities (NCEs) and explore and implement innovative research areas or apply innovative solutions to project problems

Associate Scientist, I - Analytical R&D - AbbVie

AbbVie’s Small Molecule Chemistry and Manufacturing Control (CMC) Development, Analytical Research & Development team focuses on utilizing measurement scientists of analytical chemistry to inform the development of new chemical entities and the associated formulations dosed in a preclinical and clinical setting across a wide range of pipeline programs. The group is highly cross-functional and works closely with internal Analytical R&D colleagues as well as colleagues within Discovery, Process Chemistry, Pharmaceutics and Drug Product Development. Key responsibilities for this role include performing method development and execution of methods for the characterization and development of small molecule active pharmaceutical ingredients, intermediates, starting materials, preclinical formulations, and accelerated stability samples, efficiently processing and visualizing analytical data and summarizing basic trends within the data, and maintaining and keeping an accurate laboratory notebook with high attention to detail.

Scientist, Quantitative Biomeasures - Pfizer

This opportunity involves the Biomeasures group in Pfizer Andover, which applies cell-based assays, proteomics, and quantitative protein liquid-cooled thermal management systems (LCTMS) to transformative mRNA/LNP, small molecule, and biotherapeutics projects. This role will primarily develop protein mass spectrometry and targeted proteomics assays to measure concentrations and turnover of targets of biotherapeutics in a variety of biological matrices as well as transgene protein expression from mRNA-LNP therapies. The bulk of teaching assignments will be in introductory chemistry or organic chemistry for majors and non-majors, with the potential for other assignments.
