Although ostensibly a simple HPLC testing method, it can be fraught with potential pitfalls. These include poor extraction efficiency, poor methodology, and outcome bias from lab to lab. In this episode, we will examine these issues and discuss the utility of mass spectrometry as an alternative to address the shortcomings of HPLC.
