Alicia Douglas Stell joined CEM shortly after receiving her PhD in Analytical Chemistry. Her career started in CEM’s Life Science division where she played a key role in the development of the Liberty™ peptide synthesizer product line. Alicia then became one of the first members of a newly formed team that started the initial work on the EDGE® automated extraction system. Following her work with EDGE product development, Alicia helped form the Organic Solutions division. Alicia is a crucial member of a team of scientists and engineers that have designed systems to explore the frontiers of sample preparation.
